I’m here to help

Whether your journey is about developing your self and your leadership skills or inspiring your team and organisation to greatness, I’m here to help.

I’d love to hear from you about people, websites, and resources that inspire and challenge you. Drop me a note in the comments.

My background

I have been in leadership roles ever since I can remember. Even as a kid, I usually had some kind of responsibility, even when I was actively trying to avoid it!

Hiding from challenges

For a while, I did my best to hide from any kind of leadership role. Why? I was afraid of being accountable for my own results. I feared not having control. And I truly believed that failure was final.

Embracing change

I have since learned a new way of looking at the world. I now know that: failure is final only if we allow it to stop us from trying again; change is where the magic happens; unexpected outcomes are a great learning opportunity; and great results come when we align our values, goals, and efforts.

Since my change of mindset, I’ve embraced the challenges and changes that have come my way, whether taking on new roles in the workplace, learning a new language, or going on very long walks (more about that in some future post!). Now, the underlying themes of my life are change and connection.

The “a-ha!” moment

One thing that really excites me is seeing someone have an “a-ha!” moment when they realise that they are capable of more than they thought and that change is possible. It’s almost like you can see the lightbulb go on!

I see my role as a consultant to be helping leaders, managers, and front-line staff have “a-ha” moments about their own capabilities and the capabilities of the business, and then work out how to take action. I also help you avoid common mistakes and traps that will harm your change efforts.

I’d love to talk to you about the changes you want to make, and how I can help. Head on over to my contact page to get in touch, or connect with me by email or phone.
