How to turn great ideas into great results

Strategy 3: Experiment

One of the biggest barriers to making change is the mental model that all change is permanent, and once we've put something in place, we're stuck with it. This halts progress in its tracks, as we strive to achieve perfection on our first attempt.

The best way I know to get us unstuck from the idea of instant perfection, and to increase our likelihood of success, is to experiment with our ideas.

Quick bite:

What's one experiment you can try today? Pick something simple, and do one thing differently. What was the result? If you like it, keep doing it. If not, try another experiment until you get a result you like.
