The Leader Accelerator

For growth-oriented leaders and the organisations backing them

It's time to make the shift from doing the work to leading the team

Whether you’re stepping into your first leadership role, or up to the most senior level in an organisation, you’re busier than you’ve ever been.

As a new leader, you’re still delivering, still proving yourself, and now you’re expected to lead people well too. The skills required to do the work are completely different to what’s required to lead a team.

As a senior leader, suddenly your domain expertise is less important than being able to lead across the organisation, aligning with your colleagues to ensure everyone succeeds.

Daria, a dark-haired woman in a black, pink, yellow, and blue dress, is smiling at the camera. She is seated on a wooden chair in front of a mid-gray background.

Either way, you’ve got more on your plate than seems humanly possible to deal with. That’s why you need training and development that fits into your schedule, instead of piling more work on top.

Rather than pulling you away for full-day training sessions, the Leader Accelerator blends self-paced learning, live webinars, office hours, and optional coaching to work with your schedule, not against it.

It gives you practical skills and tools you can use right away, while providing on-the-go coaching, guidance, and support as you build your leadership competence and confidence.

This is a 30min no-obligation online conversation to check if the programme is a good fit for you and your team.

Organisations that trust me to lift their leaders' game

Most leaders were never taught how to lead

That's why The Leader Accelerator programmes exist

Building Impact: for new leaders

Strong individual performers get promoted to leadership because they are capable, reliable, and trusted.

But leading people requires a different set of skills, and many new leaders are left to work that out under pressure, in real time, while trying not to drop the ball.

As a new leader, you find yourself:
  • Doing too much yourself instead of leading through others.

  • Avoiding difficult conversations because you don’t want to get it wrong.

  • Second-guessing your decisions and worrying you should already know exactly what to do.

  • Feeling pressure to have all the answers, even when the situation is new and unclear.

  • Becoming overwhelmed trying to prove yourself while supporting everyone else.

Organisations see:
  • New managers slipping back into doing rather than delegating.

  • Senior leaders carrying extra load because they do not have time to coach properly.

  • Inconsistent people leadership across teams.

  • A slower, leakier leadership pipeline than they want.

The Leader Accelerator is designed to support the transition to leadership early, before unhelpful patterns become hard-to-break habits. It sets new leaders up for success by helping them master the key mindsets and skills of effective leaders.

Who this programme is for

Building Impact

This programme is designed for newly-promoted leaders in their first three years of people leadership, especially those working in professional services, corporate, and other knowledge-based industries.

It suits organisations that want to support new leaders well, without relying on already-stretched managers to do all the development work themselves.

This will be a good fit for you if you are:

  • A new leader who wants practical support, not abstract theory.

  • A technical specialist or high performer moving into people leadership for the first time.

  • An organisation promoting emerging leaders and wanting them to succeed faster.

  • An HR, L&D, GM, partner, or team leader looking for a strong on-ramp for your up-and-coming leaders.

Expanding Impact: for mid-level and senior leaders

The pathway to mid-level and senior leadership is rocky and you’re generally left to figure it out for yourself. As long as you don’t make too many mistakes, you’ll be given more responsibility, but no additional support or guidance.

So, you try to learn from your mistakes, but you still aren’t sure if you’re doing a good job. You simply don’t know what you don’t know.

You find yourself:
  • Taking too much responsibility on yourself because you don’t want to burden your team.

  • Avoiding difficult conversations because the stakes are higher than ever before, and you can’t afford to lose good people.

  • Promoting team members quickly to fill gaps without a solid development plan to equip them with the skills and mindsets they need.

  • Feeling increasingly isolated and lonely because there are fewer people at your level, and competition for promotions erodes trust.

  • Burning out because you’re busy supporting everyone else, and don’t make time to support your own wellbeing.

Organisations see:
  • Reactive rather than intentional leadership, undermining effective team performance.

  • Senior leaders getting stuck in the weeds because they don’t have a solid delegation and development plan.

  • Frustrated and disengaged team members who are thinking about – or actually – leaving the organisation.

  • Leaders failing to fulfil their potential because they’re trying to be all things to all people, instead of mastering their leadership craft.

The Leader Accelerator is designed to support the mindset and behavioural shift that’s required to become an effective mid-level and senior leader. It teachers leaders how to understand and influence the systems that operate in the organisation, and provides a ready-made peer network who “get” what it’s like to lead at that level.

The framework

Building Impact

This Leader Accelerator supports new leaders to make three significant mindset shifts to establish their leadership effectiveness.

From doing it all yourself to leading through others

From paralysed self-doubt to learning through practice

From needing certainty to leading with curiosity

New leaders are often promoted because they are good at delivering the daily work, so their instinct is to keep doing more of it.

Many new leaders think they are failing when leadership feels uncomfortable, but discomfort is often part of learning a new craft.

New leaders often feel pressure to appear certain, even when they are facing situations they have never handled before.

This shift helps them step out of over-functioning, delegate more effectively, and start leading through others instead of carrying everything themselves.

This shift helps them embrace the learning curve, build confidence through practice, and keep going without being derailed by uncertainty.

This shift helps them let go of the myth that they need to know everything and lead with curiosity, sound judgement, and greater presence.

Expanding Impact

This Leader Accelerator supports leaders to step up into greater levels of effectiveness by expanding their mindsets and broadening their area of influence.

From leading your area to contributing to the whole

From providing answers to building judgement

From fixing problems to improving the system

As your leadership responsibilities grow, it can be tempting to prioritise the needs and results of your own team or function, without fully understanding the effects on other parts of the organisation.

You’ve become the person everyone turns to for answers. But solving problems for others leaves them dependent on you, stifling their growth and your effectiveness.

When the same problems keep resurfacing, you may be in the habit of intervening or asking people to try harder, rather than examining what keeps producing those problems.

This shift helps you broaden your perspective, work across organisational boundaries, and balance team and business priorities so that everyone can succeed.

This shift helps you develop clarify decision-making boundaries, and build people’s confidence and judgement to act without unnecessary dependence on you.

This shift helps you look beyond individual incidents, recognise patterns, and improve the structures, processes, and expectations that shape how your people work and perform.

This is not about becoming a perfect leader overnight.

It is about building the habits, awareness, and capability that help new leaders make a stronger start, and experienced leaders grow their impact.

The outcomes

For new leaders

Leadership gets easier when you stop trying to perform leadership perfectly and start practising it more deliberately.

The Building Impact programme equips you with the tools and skills you need right now, so you can lead well from Day One, instead of making all the typical new-leader mistakes yourself.

By the end of the programme, you will be able to:

  • Delegate with confidence and get great results.
  • Stop over-functioning and firefighting so you can make a real difference to your team.
  • Build trust and accountability across your team.
  • Handle difficult conversations earlier and more effectively.
  • Lead without feeling you must have all the answers.
  • Navigate real workplace situations with greater calm and clarity.

For established leaders

Your impact grows exponentially when you learn how to grow your people’s capability and unlock the systems that hold them back.

The Expanding Impact programme equips you with practical tools and skills and grows your capacity for reflection and strategic action.

By the end of the programme, you will be able to:

  • Unleash your team members’ strengths to deliver high performance that actually enhances their wellbeing.
  • Identify and influence the organisational systems that enhance or constrain performance.
  • Build high-trust teams that embrace growth, accountability, and innovation.
  • Lead with intention beyond your functional domain, aligning your team’s work with organisational goals.

For organisations

When new leaders are supported early, they build healthy leadership habits and strong team performance from Day One. When established leaders get timely guidance and mentoring, they grow their own capabilities and those of their teams.

Leader Accelerator programmes are a practical, structured way to support emerging and established leaders without waiting for problems to show up first.

Organisations can expect:

  • A faster transition into effective people leadership.
  • Reduced bottlenecks through better delegation and accountability.
  • More confident conversations about what really matters.
  • Stronger team performance and engagement over time.
  • Less pressure on senior leaders to fill the development gap alone.
  • Smarter decisions and more consistent results through aligned teamwork.

Equip your leaders with powerful, practical tools and mindsets that work in the real world.

What the programme includes

Leader Accelerator programmes are a 12-week cohort-based leadership development programme designed for real working life.

They combine structured learning with live support, so participants can apply what they are learning as they lead.

Programme elements

  • Self-paced learning that fits around work commitments.
  • Live webinars focused on practical leadership challenges.
  • Office hours for coaching, guidance, and support.
  • Reflection and application between sessions.
  • Peer learning with other new leaders navigating similar challenges.
  • A focus on real leadership situations, not just theory.
  • 1:1 coaching support available as an add-on during and after the programme.

Programme structure

The 12-week programme has three phases: four-week cycles of learning, practice, and reflection.

Building Impact

Phase 1: The Shift

Move from doing the work to leading through others.

Phase 2: The Practice

Learn leadership in real time, with support as new challenges emerge.

Phase 3: The Presence

Lead with more confidence, curiosity, and steadiness in uncertain situations.

Phase 1: The Shift

Move from doing the work to leading through others.

Phase 2: The Practice

Learn leadership in real time, with support as new challenges emerge.

Phase 3: The Presence

Lead with more confidence, curiosity, and steadiness in uncertain situations.

Each learning cycle follows the same four-week format:
  • Week One – Prework & Office Hours: learning resources (videos, articles, worksheets) are provided on Day One of the learning cycle. A one-hour drop-in session to discuss any concerns or issues, and answer your questions.
  • Week Two – Webinar: a two-hour live, interactive webinar where we review the learning resources and discuss how you’ll apply it to your daily work. You’ll develop an action plan and commit to implementing it.
  • Week Three – Office Hours: a one-hour drop-in session to review progress on your action plan, discuss any concerns or issues, and answer your questions. This is a great opportunity to trouble-shoot any tricky situations you’ve come across and celebrate what you’ve learned so far.
  • Week Four – Reflect and Adjust: you’ll review your action plan, what went well and not so well, and what you’ll do differently moving forward. You’ll submit a learning reflection and receive feedback from Daria.

The next learning cycle starts the week after Week Four of the previous cycle. After three cycles, you’ve completed your Leader Accelerator programme, and you’ll be feeling more confident and leading more effectively.

Trusted by leaders and organisations who value practical development

I’ve worked with leaders and teams across a range of organisations to build stronger leadership, deeper trust, and more effective ways of working together.

Daria sets really high standards. She takes time to get to know you and genuinely wants to achieve the best there is for you. Couldn’t recommend a better practitioner.

I’ve been really grateful to work with Daria Williamson over my career, and I can confidently say that she’s been a game changer for how I lead my team and organisation.

Daria’s helped me develop key skills in communication and helped me find my style of leadership along with what my strengths are. She’s taught me how to improve skills with handling conflict and challenging situations, but what I appreciate the most is she meets you where you’re at, and tailors her approach to what you need in that moment to help you meet your daily, weekly and overall goals and objectives for your organisation.

If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your growth and will guide you to achieve your true potential, then Daria’s the one.

Before working with Daria Williamson, I was struggling with how to handle some difficult situations at work. I knew what I wanted to say, but not always how to say it in an impactful way. Daria’s Leadership Development programme helped me to pause and think about my approach.

I referenced the programme material and a conversation I expected to be tense turned into an open acknowledgement of impact, an apology, and a commitment to do things better. That was a pretty big moment for me.

The tools and reference materials are an asset that I still refer to, especially when I’m outside my comfort zone. I’d recommend Daria Williamson to anyone who wants to handle tough conversations with more confidence and less stress.

I enjoyed the topics relating to how to become better leaders.

I liked the approach taken in teaching and Daria’s relatable approach in presenting. I found Daria excellent and have only commendations for her.

Daria was fantastic, the subjects we covered were deeply explained.

Daria even went out of her way to help us with things we were experiencing on the floor, which had given me a new perspective on how to view/tackle things.

About Daria Williamson

I work in leadership development across all levels, from new leaders to senior leadership teams and organisational culture.

My work is grounded in a simple belief: leadership development should help people grow in capability without stripping out their humanity.

I’ve got over twenty years of leadership experience and learning under my belt, from leading frontline team members to leading teams of senior leaders, so I’ve got the scars from the very same battles that you face. That means I bring both empathy and proven tools and mindsets to our work together.

I help high-performing professionals make the transition from being successful because of what they do to being successful because of what they lead their team to do.

That means supporting leaders to build trust, grow accountability, and lead with more awareness, steadiness, and impact.

I designed the Leader Accelerator programmes to give emerging leaders the kind of practical, thoughtful support many people never receive when they first step into leadership, and established leaders the confidential support they need to grow their capability and wellbeing.

Your questions, answered

How will this programme work with a busy schedule?

Leader Accelerator programmes are designed to fit alongside real jobs and existing responsibilities, rather than requiring people to step away for full-day training.

They combine self-paced learning, live webinars, and office hours so participants can keep learning while continuing to lead.

What makes Leader Accelerator programmes different to generic leadership training?

This programme is designed to both cover the key aspects of effective leadership and show you how to tailor your approach for your specific strengths and context.

It focuses specifically on the patterns, pressures, and capability gaps that show up when someone first starts leading people, or steps up to a new level of responsibility. Participants get access to tools they can apply immediately, and skills they can work on right away.

Who is the right fit for this programme?

The programmes are designed for two separate audiences: leaders in their first three years of leading others (the Building Impact programme), and leaders who have stepped up to greater responsibility (the Expanding Impact programme).

The Building Impact programme is also suitable for anyone who wants to revisit and strengthen their leadership foundations, particularly when paired with the optional 1:1 coaching add-on.

How does the Building Impact programme help new leaders develop more confidence?

The Building Impact programme focuses specifically on the shift from individual contributor to people leader, which is where many new leaders struggle most.

Each module will help participants recognise the patterns that commonly derail them, build their capacity to navigate challenging situations, and grow confidence through real-time application of practical skills.

The Building Impact programme is designed to deliver regular feedback and guidance, and additional, tailored support is available.

How does the Expanding Impact programme help established leaders deliver better results?

The Expanding Impact programme focuses on systemic and strategic mindsets and tools that help leaders unlock greater team performance and wellbeing.

Each module supports leaders to develop their capacity to understand and influence organisational systems, create space for their peoples’ strengths to shine, and cultivate team capability and capacity.

The Expanding Impact programme is designed around three pillars: mentoring, supportive challenge, and developing an effective peer network. This creates a feedback-rich environment that encourages personal and professional growth.

Optional 1:1 coaching support is available during and after the programme to maximise the transfer of learning to the “real world”.

What support do participants receive between sessions?

This is not a passive, set-and-forget online course.

Participants get access to live webinars, office hours, and guided reflection and application exercises so they can work through real leadership challenges as they arise. They can contact Daria between sessions for guidance, and optional 1:1 coaching is available to support leaders to apply their learning and expand their perspective.

How does the online format make learning easier to access and apply?

The programme is a blend of self-paced and live learning, all delivered online. This makes it easy for participants to join from different locations and integrate the learning into their normal working week.

That format allows organisations to support leaders without the disruption of pulling them out for in-person training days.

Can organisations use this programme to support multiple leaders?

I welcome multiple leaders from the same organisation in the programmes.

This makes it a practical way to support a group of leaders by providing a consistent learning experience, without relying on already-stretched managers to provide all the development themselves.

And if you have a group of six or more leaders, you may prefer an exclusive in-house cohort, which can be tailored to your organisation’s unique strengths, challenges, and culture.

How does this programme give new leaders a strong start without treating leadership as a one-off fix?

The New Leader Accelerator is designed to provide strong foundational support at a critical point in a leader’s development.

It helps people make a healthier, more effective start, while recognising that leadership growth continues well beyond one programme.

I offer tailored 1:1 coaching programmes that can sit alongside or follow-on from the New Leader Accelerator to really embed the learning. We can discuss this on your discovery call.

Ready for high-impact leadership development that works with your busy schedule?

Whether you are stepping into leadership yourself or looking to support the people coming through behind you, Leader Accelerator programmes offer a practical, structured approach to building stronger, more effective leadership, no matter what stage you’re at on your leadership journey.
